These pesky spots can arise due to normal sun damage, the aging process, hormones, or from scarring. With Elite IQ innovative laser treatments, you can reduce or remove unwanted spots, and reveal fresher, healthier looking skin.
How It Works
This treatment can be done on any part of the body, the face, hands and décolletage are the most common areas treated. The laser is used to break up unwanted pigment spots, leaving the treated areas darker and ashy looking. These areas will remain darkened for 3 -7 days before sloughing off to reveal the new skin, with reduced or eliminated pigment. This can typically take 7-14 days. There is often some redness for about 12-24 hours post-treatment.Treatments vary by person depending on the sunspots or pigmentation being treated. This procedure is minimally uncomfortable, and well tolerated without the use of numbing cream. Plain unscented moisturizing products can be used on the treatment area for comfort. Avoid sun exposure during the course of the treatment, and use broad spectrum sunblock.
